When your next statement is produced, instead of posting it to you we will notify you via email that it is available to view online
If you have opted out of receiving paper statements
and normally make your monthly payment by post or
at a bank, you will need to use an alternative method of payment. Here are just a few ways you can do it...
Alternate methods of payment
• We recommend setting up a direct debit, which can be done by selecting the “Direct debit” link from the 'Manage Account' tab.
• You can also make an online payment by debit card from the 'Make Payment' tab.
• For other available payment methods, please refer to the back of your statement which can be viewed online.
What's the difference between an Official Statement & Online Summary?
Your online summary contains most of the same details about charges, credits and payments as the official statement you receive by post each month. However, it does not include all of the information that is on your official statement such as account disclosures or statement messages, so it is important to review your official statement.

To ensure that you receive all e-mails about your card, add customerservice_at_mbna.co.uk to your e-mail Address Book or Safe List.
This is a servicing email in relation to your MBNA issued credit card, sent in accordance to the contact details you have provided us with. Please don't reply to this e-mail with any account details, as e-mail is not a secure form of communication.*You will be charged a handling fee for a balance transfer and cash transaction of up to 5% of the transaction (minimum £3) but your fee may be lower than this. Please check the My Promotions page or alternatively the Transfer Balances pages in your online banking site for details. You cannot transfer a balance from another card issued by MBNA. Money transfers will incur a handling fee, unless we have told you otherwise, of up to 4% of the transaction.
Your promotional rate, should there be one on your account, will no longer apply from the beginning of any statement period during which you breach your terms and conditions. If you settle other cards or loans your monthly payment may be lower. Charges may be incurred for early settlement of other loans. If you have two or more promotional offers at the same rate, we will use your payments to reduce any promotional balance which has the earliest start date first. If you have two or more promotional offers at the same rate and they start on the same date, we will use your payments to reduce any promotional balance with the lowest standard rate last, even if this offer ends first. This could mean that any such balance may not have been reduced by the time the standard rate applies to it.
