Hi, I'm Kelly!

Last year, I was a freelance graphic designer. While the
flexibility of the work suited me, I wanted something that was
both creative and more intellectually “left brain.” That’s why I
decided to learn to code, and why I signed up for Codecademy
Ready (

Before taking Ready, I had no knowledge of tools like
GitHub and Terminal, and minimal experience with the process of
working as a professional coder. Now, I’m working as a part-time
web designer at a mid-sized startup, and what I learned through
Codecademy is helping me to excel at it.
