CSS is notoriously limited in the amount of control it offers developers, but a brand new project named Houdini is set to change all of that. Aerogramme Studio have published a summary of Pixarâs 22 Rules of Storytelling. Aimed at narrative writers, the rules also work as a guideline for UX designers. Gems of wisdom include: Find your ending first; Make a list of what shouldnât happen; Discount the 1st idea, and the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th; Finish, even if itâs not perfect.

Golden Arches Get Minimalist Treatment:
Itâs rare that a brand is so iconic that 80% of its logo can be cropped, and itâs still recognizable. Communications agency Cossette have taken advantage of McDonaldâs brand recognition with a witty minimalist approach to advertising in Toronto, transforming the famous golden arches, into simple signage. Itâs brilliantly effective.
