Guitar solos-- or any instrumental solos for that matter-- are
huge in music. I'm not necessarily talking about popularity,
since any of us can listen to the radio now and go, "Where's the
guitar??.".

No, what I'm talking about is the effect of the solo on the
instrumentalist. It's perhaps one of the biggest draws to the
instrument. It's the thing that often creates the spark of
inspiration in each person! It can also be one of the most
personal expressions that an instrumentalist can get out in their
music, among so many other things...

Also, with how big of a deal it is, it's hard to narrow down ALL
of the things that make or break solos or create *that* spark.
The best we can do is take bite-sized pieces off at a time and
break them down. That's what I'm doing today with my good friend
Chris Liepe! If you've seen any of my prior videos with Chris,
you know that he has a TON of good info to add to the
conversation, so please join us over at today's video.

YES, I DO LIKE TO BLINDFOLD MY GUESTS. YES, IT'S A PROBLEM. NO,
I'M NOT GETTING HELP FOR IT. ( https://el2.convertkit-mail.com/c/68uvmrvkoof8h20262/25h2hohvogg8zo/aHR0cHM6Ly95b3V0dS5iZS9zeTBDYU1PWDV0cw== )
