Phrasing. That's it; the key is phrasing.

Rhythm, taking breaths, using breaks to make the riffs... If you
can phrase well, that's what you need to get the "fusion sound".

I'm going to talk about how to approach scales in a rhythmic way
to get you that fusion sound. We're going to look at using pauses
and taking a deep breath to 'recharge' and move intentionally
into whatever is next. If you want to dive into playing fusion,
