What's so universal about the blues? It's a genre that transcends
borders and cultures. Sure, music is a universal language, but
there are clear differences between cultures. But somehow... the
blues manages to speak to everyone the world over... how...?
I think it comes down to feeling. The blues is truly a
feeling-based way of playing music. There are lots of theory and

theory-based (even though it definitely has theory in it).

inherent ability to feel and play with feeling, but sometimes
little technique quirks or hesitations can get in the way.
Today's video is all about identifying and removing some common
roadblocks to playing with feeling, so that your most authentic
music can be heard.
