Other major markets are exposed to softer external demand and reversals in inbound investment, even as reliance on these drivers rises. Tighter fiscal positions may weigh on investment in 2026, and while borrowing costs will be lower, they will stay well above pre-pandemic norms. Overarching these pressures is the risk of renewed geopolitical disruption, with ceasefires under strain across multiple arenas.
