How developed is your chord theory? Do you know what scale
degrees constitute specific chords? Do you know how to build and
use inversions?
What about your ear? Even if you can do all of the above... can
you hear it when someone is playing?
If you answered "no" to any of those questions (mostly the last
one), today's video will help you out. We're not diving into
chord theory-- that's for another day. Instead, we're going to
look at very basic, intuitive ways to develop your ear to
recognize chords. Regardless of where you're at, ear-training is
a super-important skill for your playing, and it's never too late
to start, or a bad time to practice. Let's dive in!
